Aylesbury Fire Systems successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a new conventional fire detection and alarm system at the Sweaty Betty retail store. The system included smoke detectors, manual call points, and sounders, all integrated with an Advanced Aylesbury Fire Control 2-zone panel.The system operates from a combined power supply and battery charger housed within the control panel. In the event of a mains supply failure, the system automatically switches to a set of sealed lead-acid standby batteries. These batteries ensure a 24-hour standby period, with additional capacity to operate the alarm sounders for 30 minutes.This reliable and efficient fire alarm system enhances the safety and operational readiness of the store, providing robust protection for staff and customers alike.
